Redemption: Keith Bogans finally gets paid

  If you’re a lifelong BlogNBAsketball fan then you’ll know the story of Keith Bogans. I have shed light in the past on this man and his history of being pooped on by numerous franchises. He’s the example of how the NBA doesn’t take care of its veterans, as they get recycled like spare parts across the league.   Two years ago, Keith Bogans made the Chicago Bulls roster during training camp as a veteran role player. He impressed head coach Tom Thibodeau so much with his defense and consistency that he started all 82 games alongside MVP Derrick Rose. What did Bogans get for his troubles? Released…and replaced with Rip Hamilton, who got $15 million. Hamilton, meanwhile, barely even played this past season with an assortment of aches and wrinkles.   The next stop for Bogans on his veteran world tour was the then-New Jersey Nets.
